Join Queen Angela Sayler at the 2010 National Cherry Queen Selection Weekend...
Join Queen Angela Sayler at the National Cherry Queen Selection Weekend, May 20-22, 2010, at the Official National Cherry Queen host hotel the Great Wolf Lodge.
During this three-day preliminary selection weekend, a panel of judges will assess each Candidate in a series of four personal interviews and a cherry industry speech presentation. In addition to the competition interviews and cherry industry speech, Candidates also benefit from educational and motivational seminars throughout the weekend.
The four candidates with the highest points at the end of the weekend will receive a $1,000 scholarship award to the school of her choice, a Festival wardrobe provided by Younkers, and advance to the final round of competition during National Cherry Festival Week with all expenses paid while in Traverse City.

To be considered as a 2010-2011 Queen Candidate, we must receive:
- Application completed and signed
- Signed Candidate Contract
- Sponsor authorization form completed and signed
- Bio template and one-page resume completed
- Sponsorship form along with the $500 (postmarked by March 31, 2010) or $600 (postmarked between April 1 and May 1, 2010) sponsorship fee
- 10 Candidate photos which meet our criteria: 2X3 size; Color or Black and White; NO crown, title banner, or bathing suit; all of the same pose; and each labeled with your name, sponsor(s), and hometown.
Firm deadline date of May 1, 2010. Applications received after the deadline date, or after the maximum number of candidates has been reached, may not be considered.
